USA Basketball Chief Development Officer, Jennifer Lynne Williams, Confirmed as Speaker for the International Sports Summit 2025

Premier Sports Network is pleased to announce Jennifer Lynne Williams, Chief Development Officer of the USA Basketball Foundation, as a confirmed speaker at the International Sports Summit 2025, taking place 12–13 November at Duke University.

Jennifer is widely recognized for her leadership in advancing equity, opportunity, and long-term development pathways across American basketball. In her role with USA Basketball, she leads the organisation’s national fundraising strategy, shaping programs that support youth participation, women’s basketball excellence, and community engagement initiatives across the country.

Under her leadership, the USA Basketball Foundation secured the largest philanthropic commitments in its history, including a $3.5 million gift in 2022 and a renewed $5 million gift in 2025 from the Tull Family Foundation — landmark contributions that expand access to the sport and reinforce its role in shaping future generations.

Before joining USA Basketball, Jennifer served as Director of Intercollegiate Athletics at Alabama State University, where she led the program to 43 conference championships and multiple academic and operational honours. Her earlier leadership roles at North Carolina A&T, DePaul University, and within national sports governance reflect a career dedicated to building sustainable, athlete-centred systems.

At the International Sports Summit, Jennifer will contribute to discussions on:

  • Developing sustainable athlete and fan engagement ecosystems

  • The evolving role of national governing bodies leading into LA28

  • Community-centred strategies to grow participation and visibility

  • Building philanthropic partnerships that support long-term player pathways

Her perspective will be particularly relevant as the U.S. sports landscape prepares for the significant visibility and commercial opportunity driven by LA28, and as federations look to meaningfully connect elite performance with legacy and community impact.
