Canadian Olympic Committee’s Chief Sport Officer, Eric Myles, Confirmed as Speaker for the International Sports Summit 2025
Premier Sports Network is pleased to confirm Eric Myles, Chief Sport Officer at the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC), as a speaker at the International Sports Summit 2025, taking place 12–13 November at Duke University.
As Chief Sport Officer, Eric leads Team Canada’s Games strategy, national federation relations, and athlete engagement initiatives, steering the organisation toward a human-centered model of high performance. His tenure has been defined by a sustained commitment to integrating well-being, athlete experience, and performance outcomes into a single system of support.
Since joining the Canadian Olympic Committee in 2014, Eric has overseen the delivery of 14 Olympic, Paralympic, Pan American and Youth Olympic Games missions, continuously refining operational frameworks to reflect evolving environments, health demands, and athlete needs. His leadership has contributed to the establishment of enhanced medical, mental health, and career transition programs, reinforcing a culture that prioritizes long-term athlete development and holistic performance.
A former national sprint canoe/kayak athlete and coach, Eric brings a distinct blend of experience across sport leadership, education, and public health. He is recognised internationally for advancing athlete-centered performance ecosystems and fostering collaboration across the Olympic Movement. In 2024, he was named one of The Globe and Mail’s Best Executives in Canada for his contributions to national sport system transformation.
