Tottenham Hotspur are set to launch its Chinese New Year campaign at tonight's London derby game with Chelsea.
Players will warm-up in special edition t-shirts, of which the design was voted on by followers of the official Tottenham Hotspur Weibo platform in China.
Fans from China will be able to tune in for the pre-match build-up via a live stream on Weibo, broadcast from Shanghai, at 7pm in the country.
T-shirts will later be made available for sale through the club's e-commerce platforms in China to kick-off a New Year campaign aimed at promoting healthy living amongst its fans.
Building up to Chinese New Year, on February 12, the Premier League side will release exclusive and engaging content through its digital channels in China, including a series of short videos featuring Heung-Min Son, Gareth Bale and Hugo Lloris, re-enacting traditional New Year activities and offering advice on how fans can stay healthy during the Year of the Ox.
Lunar New Year is also celebrated at this time across other nations in the Asian region, including South Korea, Malaysia and Vietnam, where the club has become increasingly popular.
Across its South Korean platforms, content featuring national team captain Son, will be released via Naver TV, Facebook and the recently launched Twitter account for Korea, with New Year messages from players also recorded for Vietnam and Malaysia.
Shaneil Patel, head of content at Tottenham Hotspur said: "Chinese New Year annually presents a huge moment for the club to engage with its strong and growing fanbase in China and other nations celebrating at this time.
"The fact we are launching our Year of the Ox campaign on such a huge platform - around a big Londo derby match- demonstrates our commitment to harnessing the excitement of our fans in Asia.
"We hope our fans enjoy the exclusive content coming their way over the New Year period and wish them all well during this challenging time."
