Swedish billionaire Daniel Ek is looking to launch a takeover bid for Arsenal FC, alongside club legends Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp and Patrick Viera.
Ek, who is the current owner and chief executive of Spotify, has asked for the help of the three Arsenal invincible as he looks to take over the club from current owner Stan Kroenke.
"As a kid growing up, I've cheered for @Arsenal as long as I can remember. If KSE would like to sell Arsenal I'd be happy to throw my hat in the ring," Ek tweeted on Friday, expressing his interest in buying the club for the first time, following the failed move into the European Super League.
According to Forbes, Ek is worth £3.38 billion and it remains unclear how much Ek is willing to bid for the North London club.
However, Arsenal director Josh Kroenke has told fans that his family has "no intention" of selling the club.
Speaking last week at a fans' forum, following the collapse of the European Super League, Kroenke said the club was not for sale but that they would work harder to engage with fans more effectively in the future.
