Gilbert has announced that they will be extending their ball supplying partnership with English Rugby Union's top division for another three years.
The extension of the partnership means that Gilbert will have been the Official ball supplier for the English Premiership for 24 consecutive seasons. It has also been the official ball supplier for the last seven mens Rugby World Cups, and will be for the next tournament in 2023.
In celebration of the extension of the partnership, one supporter received a signed match ball from this weekend's Premiership Rugby Final, in which the Exeter Chiefs edged out the Wasps to claim the title.
The Chief Commercial Officer at Premiership Rugby, Mark Brittain said, “Gilbert are Premiership Rugby’s longest-serving partner and I’m delighted to announce that we will be using their iconic ball for another three seasons.”
Gilbert have also just renewed their partnership with England's Rugby Football Union earlier this month, and are celebrating 20 years of collaboration. As a result of the extension, Gilbert have continued being England Rugby’s Official Ball supplier.
