Swiss luxury watch manufacturer Rolex has become the official timekeeper and partner of the PGA Championships, KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship and the PGA Professional Championship.
The Professional Golfers Association of America (PGA) has announced a comprehensive partnership with Swiss luxury watch manufacturer Rolex. Rolex has a long history of support within Golf, tracing back to 1967.
As part of the deal, Rolex will also be expanding their Ryder Cup agreement, as they are set to align themselves with Team USA for the first time in the competitions history. Rolex have been the Official Timekeeper of Team Europe since 1995.
Jim Richerson, President of PGA America said: “This is a watershed moment for the PGA of America,, Rolex’s long-standing belief in and support of golf has cultivated an aura of resiliency and trust within the game that is invaluable and, frankly, attractive for our 28,000-plus PGA Professionals to align with.”

Rolex’s relationship with golf has been constantly expanding since its first involvement in 1967, and has provided support for players, tours and governing bodies. It now partners with all Major golf Championships.
