Nick Haycock has joined Aston Villa to take up the new role of Head of Technical and Player Development, leaving his role as Club Support Manager at the Premier League.
Haycock has working for the Premier League since 2014, having previously worked for West Ham United as Under 18 and Under 21 manager, as well as occupying the Head of Coaching and Player Development role.
Other roles Haycock has undertaken in the past include coaching at Manchester City and managing Essex-based side Chelmsford City.
Haycock will be leaving the Premier League on the December 1 and announced his departure on social media: "After 6 years at the Premier League I am moving on.
"I will be starting on December 1 at Aston Villa FC as the Head of Technical and Player Development. A fantastic football club back on the up. Really looking forward to help build something special with a great group of people."
