McLaren Racing has announced Cisco Webex will become its official collaboration partner in a new multi-year deal with the Formula One racing team.
The team have said that Cisco Webex will be full integrated into its day-to-day activities and help teams to collaborate without the need for physical meetings between between each other whilst in the same country. According to McLaren, the system will be also used to create virtual experiences for fans and partners to be brought closer to the team.
Additionally, the partnership will see Cisco Webex power McLaren Slipstream, a new live-streaming service for the team's partners, with the aim of delivering exclusive content to from the Formula One team. It was trialled last summer and has been successful in enabling partners and guests to have access to the team form any location.

Cisco Webex will see their branding placed on the halos and side pods of the McLaren MCL35M Formula One race cars and on the race suits of drivers Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo.
