Japan Top League rugby side Kobelco Steelers have announced a partnership with US-based athlete engagement platform Teamworks.
The Kobelco Steelers will leverage Teamworks to engage with a global roster of players and to provide transparency in scheduling.
“Teamworks has helped innovate team operations for the club,” said Dave Dillon, Head Coach for the Kobelco Steelers. “In the team environment, training times, meetings and other appointments are changing constantly.
Teamworks has established a standard of organisation and seamless communication in relaying updates to our daily schedule. The Teamworks customer success team has made this a smooth transition for our organisation and has worked tirelessly to train all of our staff and players.”
The Kobelco Steelers join more than 3,000 teams around the world that engage with their players through Teamworks. Multiple English Premier League teams, the New Zealand All Blacks and Rugby Australia are powered by Teamworks, in addition to nearly 2,300 U.S. collegiate and over 70 North American professional teams and leagues.
“We’re excited to welcome the Kobelco Steelers to the Teamworks family,” said Zach Maurides, CEO and Founder of Teamworks.
“Innovation is necessary to perform at the highest level, and tech-forward teams like the Kobelco Steelers readily seek to update dated processes and establish crystal clear communication throughout the organisation.
