Commercial and creative agency KIN Partners has joined forces with leading global football advisor Rodrigo Messi in a new partnership.
The leading sport and entertainment talent and commercial management agency will be teaming up with the CEO of Lionel Messi Sports Management with immediate effect. The partnership will help see KIN Partner’s expand their football representation business across Southern Europe and Latin America.
Rodrigo Messi will take a senior leadership role for KIN Partners, and will be based in Barcelona. It is hoped that Messi will help KIN Partner’s plan to extend their representation across Southern Europe and Latin America.
Rodrigo is the older brother of the Barcelona captain and club legend, Lionel Messi, and plays an integral role in Lionel’s daily and publicity schedules. He has over 20 years experience at the highest level working as a representative for his younger brother.
As part of the deal, United States National Team player Konrad de La Fuente will join KIN Partners' growing roster of talent. De la Fuente made his international debut for the United States in November 2020.
When discussing the partnership, Rodrigo Messi said: “Having worked closely with KIN in the past, I’ve seen first-hand the expertise and creativity of the leadership group, and I can’t wait to be a part of it.”
“I’m excited to be leading this new project and building a proposition that ensures KIN is seen as a premium representation brand in Spain and Latin America. KIN already has a reputation for adding undeniable value to its talent, brand and property relationships, I look forward to building this status in new markets.”
KIN Partners currently has a number of top players on their books, including the likes of Ilkay Gundagon, Charley Musonda and Jamal Lowe.
