Extreme E has announced that it has extended its coverage across the UK through its multi-year broadcast deal with commercial channel ITV.
The all-electric SUV series have secured the rights to show live races, highlight shows and the series' 20-part magazine programme, Electric Odyssey.
The deal comes as ITV looks to heighten its sustainability efforts, which it announced in August 2020, with plans to reduce its carbon footprint and reach net zero carbon by 2030.
Other UK broadcast partners include the BBC, Sky Sports and BT Sport as the locations to watch Extreme E content.
"I’m thrilled Extreme E will air on ITV with its reach to the screens of millions of households," said Ali Russell, chief marketing officer at Extreme E.
"The UK has a massive appetite for motorsport, but Extreme E is about much more than that, and I’m delighted ITV shares our common goal of protecting the environment through its sustainable practices, particularly having certification from Albert - the authority on environmental sustainability for film and TV."
