Castore has added US golfer Patrick Reed to its athlete partnership portfolio, making him the first non-British athlete and first golfer to team up with the brand.
Castore has just launched its first golf line, which includes jackets, a zip top and a selection of polo shirts that coincides with the announcement of Reed partnering with the British sportswear brand, who are looking to generate growth in the US.
Reed, who won the 2018 Masters and is currently the world number seven, has been without an apparel partner since his deal with Nike, which closed towards the end of 2020.
Castore founder Tom Beahon said: “[Reed] is a man who is living proof that years of practice and dedication will pay off immensely - he has lived and breathed the game of golf since the day he was born. Patrick is the embodiment of the Castore philosophy to sport.”
Other athletes that are a part of the Castore roster include, England rugby union captain Owen Farrell, England cricketer Jos Buttler, Olympic gold medallist Adam Peaty and former world number one Andy Murray, who is also a shareholder in the company.
