National Basketball Association (NBA) franchise Brooklyn Nets have partnered with multinational telecommunications company Motorola ahead of the 2020/21 regular season.
The Motorola 'Batwing’ logo will be woven onto the top left shoulder of the Nets playing and warm-up jerseys as the two global brands partner ahead of the upcoming campaign. The partnership was revealed in a selection of photos and video starring NBA star Kevin Durant.
Alongside the jersey sponsorship, Motorola are set to provide a ‘branding presence’ in and around the Nets’ home court, the Barclays Centre.
Motorola will also become the official smartphone partner of the Brooklyn Nets, in the hope of raising the profile of Motorola’s revamped 'Razr' 5G flip phone.
Rudinei Kalil, vice president and general manager in North America at Motorola said: “Motorola and the Brooklyn Nets share an innovative spirit and a passion to win that drives success.
“We’re honored to see our iconic brand and values represented by this talented, hardworking organization. We look forward to cheering on our team with fans in Brooklyn and around the world and connecting closer to the NBA audience with our line-up of versatile smartphones.”
