Austin FC enter new partnership with American brewing company Anheuser-Busch

Newly formed MLS side, Austin FC have signed a new sponsorship deal with Anheuser-Busch to make Michelob Ultra the clubs Official Domestic Beer partner for the 2021 season.

Anheuser-Busch’s brand, Michelob Ultra is the fastest growing beer brand currently across the U.S. The partnership means that a three-part video series displaying the city of Austin’s most iconic bars and restaurants will be produced by Austin FC and released onto their social media channels. In addition, Michelob Ultra’s branding will be featured around Austin FC’s stadium.

Included in the deal, Austin-based company, ‘Brown Distributing’, will also become partners of Austin FC through the company’s distribution agreements with Anheuser-Busch.

Speaking on the partnerships, Austin FC’s president, Andy Loughnane said, “Anheuser-Busch and Michelob Ultra are iconic brands with a rich heritage, and we are pleased to welcome Anheuser-Busch and Brown Distributing into the growing portfolio of distinguished Austin FC partners”.

“Austin is passionate about sports, music and culture. We know the community is going to bring that fervor to Austin FC. Ultra is a champion in the beer industry, and we’ll be rooting for Austin FC to be a champion in MLS.” said Christina Costello, Senior Director of Marketing at Anheuser-Busch.
