Dr. Derick Anderson Joins the International Sports Summit 2025 Speaker Line-Up
Premier Sports Network is proud to announce Dr. Derick Anderson, Founder & President of Invictus Performance Inc., as a confirmed speaker for the International Sports Summit 2025, taking place on 12-13 November at Duke University.
A licensed clinical psychologist with more than two decades of experience, Dr. Anderson has built a global reputation at the intersection of performance psychology, leadership, and resilience. His work spans professional sport, the military, and law enforcement, helping athletes, executives, and high-pressure organisations achieve sustained excellence.
Beginning his career with the Miami Dolphins, Dr. Anderson went on to consult for the NFL, U.S. Army Pacific Command, FBI, U.S. Marshals, Interpol, and Army Corps of Engineers, advising on performance systems, communication, and wellbeing under pressure.
Across sport, his portfolio includes the New York Mets, Cleveland Browns, Miami Marlins, and NBA Referees Association, as well as leadership roles as Director of Sport Psychology for the Washington Wizards and Sport Psychologist for the Florida Panthers.
At the International Sports Summit, Dr. Anderson will join a high-performance breakout workshop alongside Marcus Banks (LA Clippers) and Mike Beagley (U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee) to explore how elite teams design, fund, and sustain athlete-care ecosystems that balance performance, wellness, and culture.
Through his company Invictus Performance Inc., Dr. Anderson and his team continue to shape the global conversation around athlete wellbeing and leadership excellence, translating lessons from elite environments into actionable frameworks that strengthen teams from within.
The International Sports Summit 2025, hosted in partnership with Duke Corporate Education, celebrates its 10th edition this year, uniting more than 200 global leaders from across sport, business, and academia to address the most pressing challenges shaping the industry.
